orcester Warrior RFC required a tank to irrigate their new training pitches.
orcester Warrior RFC required a tank to irrigate their new training pitches.They required 210,000L per week, per pitch, to feed the new sprinkler systems for each of the new training pitches.
They were worried that in peak times the demand may not be able to be met directly from the mains & wanted to keep a volume of water available just in case.
Space was limited and they wanted to bury the storage tank below ground but ensure that it was still strong enough to take agricultural traffic.
We supplied a 60,000L WRAS approved one piece underground break tank & incorporated marine plywood in the both the base & lid along with strengthening ribs to ensure the heavy duty lid was strong enough to with stand the loads it would be carrying.
